My take on Coolpad Mega 2.5D

Today’s blog post will be my take on Coolpad Mega 2.5D (Royal Gold). It is also available in two other unique colors, Champagne Gold and Space Grey. Purchased from Amazon.in .

Coolpad has bought another affordable phone at just Rs. 6,999. This phone is solely aimed for the youngsters out there who are obsessed with selfies.

It has a metal frame, well-built body and an 5.5 inch screen which makes it difficult to use it with just one hand. Very light weight for its size : 141 grams. It has a power button on the right and volume buttons on the left. Audio jack is present at the top(3.5mm) with micro USB & microphone at the bottom of the phone.

The front cam is the best part of this smartphone. Front cam is 8-megapixel which has an f/2.2 aperture and an 83.6 degree field of view. It has superb features like beautification mode and age detection which will magnify your selfie automatically. Photos taken from the front cam are very vibrant and reproduction of colors is also very well.  The rear camera is also 8-megapixel but it struggle with the details.

Coolpad mega 2.5D is powered by 1 Ghz quad-core processor which is coupled with 3 Gb RAM. It also has 16 Gb on storage which is expandable up to 32 Gb. The 2500 mAh battery is rated to deliver 9 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time. This smartphone also supports 4G LTE with carrier aggregation and other connectivity support options. It supports Android Marshmallow at such a low pricing. The themes of this phone are very appealing and phone does not have much in-built apps, so there is space to install as many apps of your choice.

At Rs. 6,999, it is a great package and serves an amazing purpose of good selfies and day-to-day tasks like web browsing, social networking, YouTube videos, etc.
